  • Movement: caliber Patek 12-120 PS, manual winding, subsecond, chronometer certified. The calibre 12”’120 was characterised by a traditional Genevan architecture and was intended to uphold the reputation the firm had established with its pocket watches. As seen in most movements during that time, the calibre 12”’120 was designed with a subsidiary seconds, in which the fourth wheel, making one revolution a minute, is positioned at six o’clock to drive the seconds hand directly. This traditional layout optimises the volume of the movement by spreading out the moving parts on the same plane. The escape wheel and fourth wheel are held in place by their own bridge while a separate elongated bridge spanning the movement is designated for the second and third wheels.
  • Case: staybrite steel with solid gold bezel, 36mm diameter (without crown)
  • Dial: 100% original silvered dial, signed “Hausmann” (famous Patek official retailer based in Rome), a few minor stains hardly visible on the edges of the dial, yellow gold Arabic and dot hour markers, yellow gold “sword” hands, sub-second at six. The collaboration between Hausmann & Co. (1794) and Patek Philippe (1839) dates back to more than a hundred years.
  • Bracelet: Patek “chocolate” brown alligator strap, 19-14mm, with original vintage Patek stainless steel pin-buckle.
  • Condition: superb condition for its age, about 8/10, see pictures, exceptional collector’s piece, in full working order.
  • Accessories: original Patek brown vintage leather box, original Patek Extract from the Archives confirming the authenticity of this piece.
